respective emoluments. I may mention that both Officers are
in the habit of spending their leave in England.

In these circumstances I have to
recommend that Mr. Reed, who is senior by two years to Mr.
Dixon in the Service and is reported to be a capable and
painstaking Officer, may be permitted to draw the higher
rate of £360 rising to £450 per annum by triennial incre-
-ments of £30 as from the 1st of January 1908.
